Early education is an important time in a student’s life. From grades 1-3, students are learning the academic foundations they will use for the rest of their lives. Their natural love of learning is cultivated through a deepened learning experience that engages students’ heads, hands and hearts. Through this approach, students are put into the mindset of their lessons and develop an enthusiasm for discovery early on in life. In grades 4 and 5, students’ personalities and interests are emerging and they are ready to take on more academic challenges. Waldorf education nurtures learners from their introduction to grade school to their preparation for middle school and early adolescence.
