Somatic Movement & Sound Exploration

For Grades 2 to 6
Join Club Leader Norah Greatrix for an 8-week Somatic Movement and Sound exploration, igniting imagination and inward discovery! Over these weeks, students will delve into movement and sound, bridging a connection between bodies and minds. They will explore through movement ways to feel more grounded, safe, and deeply connected to themselves and the natural world that supports us. Each session will start with a short breathing and listening activity to create a safe space where everyone can explore free movement together. Students, get ready for a fun adventure as you share experiences and play while learning more about our bodies and the magic they hold. Note: The maximum number of students for this club is 12, so register early!

Norah Greatrix is a member of the Mulberry extended family and runs a private somatic healing practice in Kingston. She works with individuals of all ages, providing Somatic Experiencing®, Yoga Therapy, Massage Therapy and Sound Therapy. Norah incorporates movement, sound and ritual as a meaningful component to support, educate, and empower the individuals she works with.
