Welcome to Mulberry Waldorf School!
We are an independent, community-based school rooted in the ideals of Waldorf education. Our school was established in 1996 and is a not-for-profit, charitable organization in Kingston, Ontario. We offer programs from birth to Grade Eight. We are proud to be part of a global community of over 1,100 Waldorf Schools in 83 countries. The Waldorf curriculum offers a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education. Arts and movement are integrated to engage the whole being – thinking, feeling and willing. We aim to cultivate freedom in thinking, healthy emotional development, compassion, and imagination – essential capacities for becoming active citizens of the world. From preschool through grade 8, our family has benefited from an approach to education that has met our three very different kids where they were and has encouraged them to blossom. We value the time they've spent outdoors, the respite from screens, the engaging curriculum and the opportunity to develop skills in woodworking, sewing and knitting. Their creativity has been fostered, and they have flourished in an environment where they are known and valued by the entire community of faculty, staff and students." |

Land Acknowledgment Mulberry Waldorf School is situated on the traditional territory of the Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples. Today, this place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, to learn and unlearn, create, play, make music, and connect with nature in this vibrant neighbourhood and the nearby natural spaces and waterways. We are striving to develop respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities in the Greater Kingston Area and beyond. Building Accessibility
We acknowledge that our school building is not physically accessible to all people. If you need help to access our building due to mobility challenges or equipment needs (e.g., a stroller), please call ahead of your visit (613-542-0669) and/or use our front door intercom to ask for help. We will do our best to meet your needs and welcome you into our space.
