A gentle start with a strong finish. Waldorf education for children from birth to Grade 8, rooted in community, nature and imagination.
Welcome
Welcome to Mulberry Waldorf School!
We are an independent, community-based school rooted in the ideals of Waldorf education. Established in 1996, we are a not-for-profit, charitable organization in Kingston, Ontario, offering programs from birth to Grade Eight.
Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate, experiential and academically rigorous. Arts and movement are woven into every day to engage the whole child: thinking, feeling and willing. We nurture freedom in thinking, healthy emotional development, compassion and imagination.

Our Community
In their words
As a student I will always remember the tight knit group of classmates I grew up with. The majority of my class are still close friends and I’m grateful for that lifelong connection. I also remember how hard the teachers worked to ensure that we were all challenged and were able to pursue our interests.
Elena Heighton Alum
From preschool through grade 8, our family has benefited from an approach to education that has met our three very different kids where they were and has encouraged them to blossom. We value the time they've spent outdoors, the respite from screens, the engaging curriculum and the opportunity to develop skills in woodworking, sewing and knitting.

We are striving to develop respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities in the Greater Kingston Area and beyond. Mulberry Waldorf School is committed to listening, learning, and taking part in the Truth and Reconciliation journey.
