Make summer magical at Mulberry Waldorf’s Summer Camp in Kingston! For ages 4-11, explore themed weeks (Music, Fantasy, Nature, Olympics, Mystery) filled with creativity, nature, and play.
We offer programming for both a Junior Camp (ages 4-7) and Senior Camp (ages 8-11) . There can be some flexibility for campers who are 7 years old. Children need to have turned 4 years old by July 1st, 2025 and are toileting independently.
Children will be immersed in both the natural and urban world around them within our building (25 Markland St), our school’s naturalized play yards, and surrounding parks and activity centres. Their time will be balanced with engaging games, crafts, skill-building activities, and various forms of art. Each week will have an overarching theme, and cumulative artistic/craft work to remember their time at camp. There will be four Camp Counsellors (18+ years old), two Camp Directors (Skylar Jordan and Remira Pryce), and several volunteers (13+ years old) every day to facilitate the programming.

Meet Our Camp Staff
Remira PryceCo-Camp Director
Remira has worked at Mulberry since 2019 and has worked in a variety of the school's programs, from After School Care to currently being the Music Specialty Teacher. She received a B.A.H from Queen's University in Music and History, and her B.Ed from Queen's University with a focus on Exceptional Learners.
Outside of Mulberry, Remira is the Arts Managing Director at Blue Canoe Theatrical, a non-profit youth theatre company for ages 30 and under in the Kingston area. Theatre, music, and spending time with loved ones (especially at local coffee shops), are her favourite ways to spend her days outside of education. Remira is thrilled to be returning to work as a Co-Camp Director with Skylar, and is looking forward to meeting all the campers, and continuing to grow the camp programming. |
Skylar JordanCo-Camp Director
Skylar worked for Mulberry as an After Care teacher from January 2021 until June 2023. She also worked as a pharmacy assistant from 2020-2023, and as a private music teacher at Arden’s Music from 2021-2023. She is currently working as a private nanny and music tutor in Montreal, Quebec, while she completes her master’s program. Skylar received a Bachelor of Music in voice from Queen’s University in 2023 and will be receiving a Master of Arts in Music Education from McGill University this upcoming August. Skylar is hoping to begin a PhD program in music education.
Skylar returned to Mulberry in February 2024 as a Co-Director for the first year of Summer Camp. She had a wonderful experience connecting and reconnecting with families in the Kingston and Mulberry community and is very excited to take on the role again this year with a marketing and enrolment focus. Skylar will be taking an administrative lead while also providing scheduling, programming, and recruitment support. When not working or researching, Skylar enjoys singing, playing piano, musical theatre, and reading. She loves to travel, go to the beach, and go on road trips with her friends and family!. |
AtalliaSenior Counsellor
My favourite hobby currently is watercolour painting and oil pastel drawing. I'm enjoying painting teapots, cows, cacti, and chairs!
An interesting fact about myself is that I taught at the Kingston School of Art for five years, serving as both the Children's Program Coordinator and Instructor. If I could have any superpower, I would want to be a time traveller! Then I could visit ancient civilizations, experience different cultures from the past, and learn as much as I could! |
Junior Counsellors

My favourite hobby is going to the beach and packing a picnic with me and my partner. An interesting fact about me is that I am going to school to become a registered psychotherapist and have always loved people and helping others. And if I could have one superpower it would be to read minds:)

I’m super excited to be your counsellor this summer! My favourite hobby is talking about dragons and mythical creatures, and a fun fact about me is that my favourite animal is a cow. If I could have any superpower, I’d choose shape-shifting so I could turn into magical creatures. I can’t wait to meet everyone and have an awesome time at camp!

I love staying active, especially running and walking! An interesting fact about myself is that I love to scuba dive! I would love to be able to fly, so I could travel to cool new places at the snap of my fingers!
