Parent & Infant Facilitators

Jess SurteesFacilitator of Parent & Infant Program - Thursdays
Jess was introduced to Mulberry Waldorf School after the birth of their child in 2023. The nurturing warmth of the Parent & Infant space instantly put them at ease and made them feel at home. A doula since 2017, Jess has worked with a wide range of families, fostering inclusivity and a passion for early childhood development. Their career of supporting families and children has been driven by joy and love, expanding to facilitating birth circles and childbirth education series.
New parents deserve warmth and nurturance so that they can in turn offer the same to their children and to strengthen bonds of community. This is achieved by the power of playful, gentle curiosity. When not at the service of new parents, Jess can be found baking or out walking with their daughter… or sifting through the latest evidence/research regarding birthing. |
